The Macedonian Philharmonic will hold a concert titled “Broadway in Skopje” in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet (MOB) on Wednesday evening at 20,00h.
The program includes arias, duets and orchestra numbers from the most famous musicals on the Broadway scene, among which “Chicago”, “South Pacific”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Phantom of the Opera” etc from the repertoire of Sinatra, Franklin, Fitzgerald, Streisand, composed by Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lloyd Webber.
Timothy Redmond from Great Britain is the conductor, whereas US guests, mezzo-soprano Tara Venditti and baritone Michael Scarcelle are soloists.
