 | Poet Vele Smilevski Wins "Velja Kutija" | | culture.in |  12 May 2009 | |  | |  Renowned Macedonian poet Vele Smilevski is this year’s recipient of award “Velja Kutija”, presented by association Macedonian Spiritual Shelters, for his poetry book “Perfect Silence”, published by “Dijalog”.
The award rationale reads, “this poetry collection has a consistent system of aesthetic and ontological ideas, representing true value and affirmation of Macedonian literature, culture and spirituality”.
Award “Velja Kutija” will be presented to Smilevski during international event “Macedonian Spiritual Shelters”, which is held in Struga church “St. Gjorgjija” in August. |  |
