“Tikveski Grozdober” Carnival

The city is well known and famous all over Europe for its vineyards. A wine festival takes place in early September every year. The carnival parade culminates with an event called ”Tikveski grozdober,” which is a must-see event if you want to taste the great Macedonian wines and party all day long. Being there, you will understand why no one asks you which wine you prefer, but rather what kind of a drunkard are you?  Here you can taste the traditional types of wine grapes from the region and the products from the local wineries.
