Carski Kuli (King’s Towers) Fortress
The city is famous for its fortress Carski Kuli. The fortress was erected on a hill southwest of Strumica. Certain findings testify to life in this area before the Roman Empire. The citadel is surrounded by a hard limestone wall, erected in late antiquity. The acropolis is separated by an additional internal wall. The entry gate is marked by two 6th-century towers, which were renovated later, during Emperor Tiberius's reign.

Orta MosqueThe site called Orta Dzamija (central mosque) is located in the urban center of the city of Strumica. Well-preserved remnants of old sacral architecture can be found on the site, as well as fresco paintings, paintings, and small plastic sculptures made of clay and white marble.  The location was named after a mosque erected there in the 17th century, but it used to be a cult spot showing traces of Christian objects, the oldest of which was dated from the late 4th and early 5th centuries.
