State Secretary of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska visited the Institute of Roads, Monuments and Museums, Aco Sopov Culture Centre, the National Theatre and Goce Delcev Library in Stip on Friday (2nd February).
Kanceska-Milevska met Stip Mayor Pande Sarev and visited the Youth Centre that is now under the responsibility of the local self-government.
“I am satisfied with the buildings, they are in perfect condition. The worst problem is posed by heating and that’s why no activities are organized in the Culture Centre in the winter. We should work on this problem and overcome it, the Secretary said.
According to her, cooperation between the Stip Mayor and the Youth Centre should improve.
“I think one should work on projects for arrangement of the area outside the Youth Centre. Projects should be submitted, and we in the Ministry of Culture will see what can be done,” Kanceska-Milevska said.
She also announced resolution of the status of young actors engaged as freelance collaborators.
