Resen Ceramic Colony
Resen is a small town, famous for ceramics. The Resen Ceramic Colony was established in 1971 and has attracted visitors ever since. The Colony is a regular member of the UNESCO and the Geneva-based International Academy of Ceramics. When in Resen, visit the town museum, which is rich with archeological and ethnological finds from the area.

Apple orchards
The region is well known for its endless apple orchards, where you can taste the most delicious apples, all grown without the use of pesticides. A fruit juice factory employs the majority of the people from the town.
