St. George Church, Kurbinovo
On the slopes of the beautiful Mt. Pelister near the blue waters of Lake Prespa is the village Kurbinovo with the small, but charming single-nave church of St. George, dating from 1191. Three unknown artists painted the gallery of this church with saints and compositions that describe the 12 big holidays and the life and miracles of Christ. This represents a true masterpiece of Macedonian painting from the 12th century.
